Verónica Miriel was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1955. Her family had roots in bullfighting. She began her acting career participating in numerous films and became one of the most recognized faces during the 'destape' era in the 1980s. She appeared in various low-budget movies throughout her career but retired from acting in the late 1980s, choosing to live away from the limelight.
