Taylor Alison Swift, born December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania, is an American singer-songwriter known for her songwriting and musical versatility. She began her career as a country musician at age 14, signing with Big Machine Records in 2005. Her albums include 'Taylor Swift' (2006), 'Fearless' (2008), 'Speak Now' (2010), and 'Red' (2012). In 2014, she abandoned her country image with the synth-pop album '1989', followed by 'Reputation' (2017). After signing with Republic Records in 2018, Swift released albums such as 'Lover' (2019), 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' (both 2020), and 'Midnights' (2022). She has sold over 200 million records worldwide, won numerous awards including 12 Grammy Awards, and been recognized as one of the best-selling musicians of all time.
