Rihanna (born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on February 20, 1988) is a Barbadian singer, businesswoman, and actress who rose to prominence after signing with Def Jam Recordings in 2005. Her debut albums, 'Music of the Sun' (2005) and 'A Girl Like Me' (2006), were influenced by Caribbean music. Her third album, 'Good Girl Gone Bad' (2007), established her as a pop icon with its lead single 'Umbrella'. Rihanna continued to blend various musical genres in subsequent albums like 'Rated R' (2009) and 'Loud' (2010).
