Rosamund Mary Ellen Pike, born on January 27, 1979, is a British actress known for her versatile roles in both independent and major films. She began her career on stage before transitioning to television with appearances in 'A Rather English Marriage' (1998), 'Wives and Daughters' (1999), and 'Love in a Cold Climate' (2001). Pike gained international recognition for playing Bond girl Miranda Frost in 'Die Another Day' (2002) and has since received critical acclaim for roles such as Jane Bennet in 'Pride & Prejudice' (2005), Ruth Williams Khama in 'A United Kingdom' (2016), and journalist Marie Colvin in 'A Private War' (2018).
