Story

Disconnect follows several interconnected stories of people struggling with relationships and communication in the modern world dominated by technology. A hard-working lawyer, married with children, is so attached to his cell phone that he neglects his family life. An estranged couple uses the internet as an escape from their lifeless marriage. An ambitious journalist sees a career-making story in a teen performing on an adult-only website.

Summary

Disconnect is a 2012 American drama-thriller directed by Henry Alex Rubin. The film explores the themes of disconnection and isolation among people in today's technology-driven society, as seen through the interwoven stories of several characters. It highlights the negative impacts of technology on relationships, including family bonds, marriage, and social interactions. Despite its limited information from sources, Disconnect aims to provide a cautionary tale about the dangers of excessive reliance on technology at the expense of human connections.
