Synopsis
Disconnect follows several interconnected stories of people struggling with relationships and communication in the modern world dominated by technology. A hard-working lawyer, married with children, is so attached to his cell phone that he neglects his family life. An estranged couple uses the internet as an escape from their lifeless marriage. Meanwhile, a widowed ex-cop struggles to raise his mischievous teenage son who engages in cyber-bullying, leading to tragic consequences for another boy's family. An ambitious journalist sees a career-making story in a teen performing on an adult-only website.
