Synopsis
Claire Beaucage, after her Montreal apartment burns down, travels to Toronto to stay with her boyfriend, a photographer of some renown whom she had a one-night stand with previously. Upon arrival, she discovers he's missing and soon finds herself mistaken for Lily Warden, a woman wanted by the police for murdering a local gangster. While trying to clear her name, Claire is pursued by both the police and a gang of criminals looking for Lily.

Résumé
Picture Claire (2001) is a neo-noir thriller directed by Bruce McDonald. The film follows Claire Beaucage, played by Juliette Lewis, who becomes embroiled in a dangerous game of mistaken identity after her Montreal apartment burns down. She travels to Toronto where she's wrongly identified as Lily Warden, a sinister woman involved in murder and theft. The film explores themes of trust, deception, and survival amidst the chaos of a murder investigation gone awry.
