Synopsis
In 'House Where Evil Dwells', the Fletcher family moves into a house in Kyoto, Japan, rented for them by their diplomat friend Alex. Initially dismissive of local rumors that the house is haunted, they soon encounter supernatural occurrences after they arrive. The spirit of a 19th-century samurai named Shigero begins to possess and manipulate them, intent on forcing them to recreate an ancient murder-suicide. Ted, the father and writer, becomes increasingly consumed by fear and suspicion, leading to tension within the family.

Résumé
'House Where Evil Dwells' is a horror film directed by Kevin Connor in 1982. It's set in Kyoto, Japan, and follows the Fletcher family as they unwittingly move into a haunted house rented for them by their diplomat friend Alex.
