Aïssatou Thiam, born to a Martinican mother and Senegalese father in Dakar, grew up in Marseille. She began her career in modeling, working with renowned couturiers like Yves Saint Laurent and Paco Rabanne. Thiam also pursued acting, appearing in films such as 'Bimboland' alongside Gérard Depardieu and Dany Boon, and on television shows like 'Tropiques amers'. She has a pronounced interest in various sports including rafting and Thai boxing. In 2008, she published an autobiography titled 'Un Grand Éclat de Rire'. Recent roles include playing Glenda in 'Ladies Night' and the lead in 'Keeping Silent'.
