Olivia Robin, born in Belgrade to a family of artists and botanists, was known for her tumultuous relationships and eccentric lifestyle. After a wild affair with Moira, she married Frédéric Lansac. However, their marriage was marred by tragedy when Moira created a scene at their wedding party, causing Anne to fall into a bonfire. Following this incident, Frédéric locked himself away with Anne and his servants in his mansion. Anne became bitter and demanding due to her injuries, leading Frédéric to hire a nurse to care for her while telling others that Anne had died.
