Nia Roberts began her acting career with a significant role in 'Solomon a Gaenor' (1998), a Welsh film featuring dialogue in Welsh and Yiddish, which won several awards. Born in Wales, she has since appeared in various Welsh-language productions like 'Fondue', 'Rhyw a Deinosors!', and the soap opera 'Pobol y Cwm'. Roberts also had roles in English-language TV shows such as 'The Bill' and 'Casualty'. She has worked with her husband, Marc Evans, in films like 'Snow Cake' (2006) and 'Patagonia' (2009). Notably, she played Mary Finch in 'Crash!' (2009) for BBC Wales. In 2010, Roberts appeared in two episodes of 'Doctor Who'. Her other film credits include 'Third Star' (2010) and 'The Facility' (2012), and she had a role in the Welsh-English series 'Y Gwyll/Hinterland' (2014).
