Biographie complète
Nancy Anne Allen, born June 24, 1950, is an American actress who rose to prominence for her roles in several films directed by Brian De Palma during the 1970s and early 1980s. Born in the Bronx and raised there, she attended the High School of Performing Arts with aspirations to become a dancer but shifted her focus to acting in her early twenties. She moved to Los Angeles and gained recognition for her role as Chris Hargensen in Brian De Palma's 'Carrie' (1976). Allen married De Palma in 1979, and her performance as a prostitute in his film 'Dressed to Kill' (1980) earned her a Golden Globe nomination. After their divorce in 1984, she appeared in various films including 'Strange Invaders', 'The Philadelphia Experiment', and 'RoboCop'. Allen stepped back from acting in 2008.
