Myra Manibog starred in the 1985 Filipino film 'Silip'. The movie revolves around Tonya, a sexually repressed woman who teaches catechism to children and has a complex relationship with Simon, the butcher she secretly desires. When Selda, her friend who moved to the city five years ago, returns home with her American lover Ronald, their lives intertwine in ways that challenge Tonya's repressed sexuality.
