Meg Ryan (born November 19, 1961) began her acting career in 1981 and gained recognition with roles like 'Top Gun' (1986), before her breakthrough performance in 'When Harry Met Sally...' (1989). She established herself as a leading lady in romantic comedies throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including 'Sleepless in Seattle' (1993) and 'You've Got Mail' (1998).
