Martha Higareda is a prominent Mexican actress, producer, and screenwriter who gained significant international recognition for her role as Kristin Ortega in the first season of the Netflix sci-fi series Altered Carbon (2018). Born on August 24, 1983, in Villahermosa, Tabasco, she began her acting career at a young age, moving to Mexico City at 14 to pursue theater and film.
