Leona Cavalli, born Alleyona Canedo da Silva on November 6, 1969 in Rosário do Sul, Brazil, is an accomplished actress known for her roles in theater and film. She debuted professionally at age 16 in 'Waltz No. 6', later studying theater at PUC in São Paulo. Cavalli received critical acclaim for her performance as Dalva in the film 'Um Céu de Estrelas' (1996), winning awards like the APCA Award for Best Actress in Cinema and the Candango Award. She played Geni in 'Toda Nudez Ser Castigada' (2000) and Blanche DuBois in 'A Streetcar Named Desire' (2002). Cavalli made her television debut in 'Os Normais' (2002), also appearing in the film 'Amarelo Manga', winning the Guarani Award for Best Supporting Actress. She played Justine in the miniseries 'Amazônia' (2007) and notable roles in soap operas like 'Gabriela' (2012) and 'Amor à Vida' (2013).
