Karolina Kurkova, born Karolína Kurková on February 28, 1984, in Děčín, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), is a renowned Czech model and actress. She gained international fame as a former Victoria's Secret Angel. Known for her exceptional proportions and energy levels, she was praised by Mario Testino and dubbed the 'next supermodel' by Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Kurkova began modeling at age 15 after being sent photos to an agency in Prague. She then moved to Milan to gain experience and signed with Miuccia Prada. By 2007, she was one of the world's top-earning models, ranking 6th on Forbes' annual list.
