Jenny Lynn Shimizu, born June 1967 in San Jose, California, grew up in Santa Maria and attended California State University, Northridge on a basketball scholarship. She moved to Los Angeles, where she was discovered by a casting director while working on her motorcycle outside an L.A. nightclub. This led to her becoming the face of Calvin Klein's CK One fragrance campaign. Shimizu is also known for her acting role in the 1996 film 'Foxfire'. She has been recognized as one of the '10 Most Amazing Women in Show Business' and received the 'Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival 2006 Lesbian Icon Award'.
