Born on January 14, 1948, in Madrid as Carmen León Conde, Eva León is a prominent Spanish actress who became a versatile staple of Spanish cinema during the 1970s and 1980s. Raised in an artistic family—her sister is the singer Rosa León—she pursued dramatic arts after completing her basic education and began her professional journey in the late 1960s.
León is widely recognized for her adaptability across various genres, moving seamlessly between drama, comedy, and horror. Her filmography is notably marked by collaborations with cult director Jess Franco, including her role as Olivia in the 1982 horror film La mansión de los muertos vivientes (Mansion of the Living Dead) and other titles like Bahía blanca (1985) and Golden Temple Amazons (1986).
