Bérangère McNeese is a Belgian-American actress, screenwriter, and film director. Born in Brussels on March 15, 1989, to a Belgian mother and an American father, she holds dual citizenship and spent her childhood absorbing both cultures. McNeese began acting as a child and later studied acting in Paris while also pursuing a degree in journalism.
Known for her roles in films such as Raw (2016) and Eyjafjallajökull (2013), she has built a prominent career in both Belgian and French television and film. A notable recent role includes one of the main characters, Daphné Forestier, in the popular French crime series HPI.
As a filmmaker, her short film Matriochkas (2019) has earned multiple accolades, including the prestigious Magritte Award for Best Short Film in 2020 and the Grand Prix at Palm Springs. McNeese is actively developing feature films and series in addition to her acting work.
