Angie Dickinson (née Brown; born September 30, 1931) is an American actress with a career spanning over six decades. She began her acting career on television during the 1950s, appearing in numerous anthology series before landing her breakthrough role in 'Gun the Man Down' (1956). Dickinson gained further recognition for her roles in films like 'Rio Bravo' (1959), which earned her a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. She has appeared in over 50 films throughout her career, including notable works such as 'Ocean's 11' (1960) and 'The Killers' (1964). From 1974 to 1978, Dickinson starred as Sergeant Suzanne 'Pepper' Anderson in the NBC crime series 'Police Woman', for which she received a Golden Globe Award and three Primetime Emmy Award nominations. She played the lead role in Brian De Palma's erotic thriller 'Dressed to Kill' (1980), earning her a Saturn Award for Best Actress.
