Andrée Pelletier, born August 24, 1951 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is an accomplished actress known for her roles in Canadian cinema. She received five Canadian Film Award and Genie Award nominations for Best Actress ('Marie-Anne', 'The Handyman', 'Latitude 55°', 'Walls') and one nomination for Best Supporting Actress ('Bach et Bottine'). After acting, she ventured into screenwriting ('The Peanut Butter Solution', 'Nénette et Karmina') and directing ('Anchor Zone', 'Voodoo Dolls'). Daughter of former journalist and diplomat Gérard Pelletier.
