Amaia Aberasturi was born and raised in the Basque Country, north of Spain. She starred as Ana in 'Akelarre' (2020), a film set during the Spanish Inquisition's witch trials. The story follows five young women arrested by Judge Rostegui, with Ana leading her friends to invent stories about witches and their Sabbat rituals to save themselves from torture and execution.
