Yoima Valdés began her acting career at the prestigious Juan Carlos Corazza school. Her film debut was in 'Airbag' (1997), but she initially focused more on television, appearing in series like 'A las once en casa' and 'Compañeros'. In 2002, she worked with Alex de la Iglesia in '800 balas', which led to more film opportunities. She later appeared in films such as 'El lápiz del carpintero' (2003), 'Agua con sal' (2005), and 'Agallas' (2009).
