Thalissa Teixeira, born to a British mother and Brazilian father in Bradford, West Yorkshire, spent her early childhood in Vitória, Brazil before returning to England at age 8. Raised in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, she joined local theatre group Through the Wardrobe. Teixeira graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2014 and began her career in theatre, earning an Ian Charleson Award nomination. She gained prominence with the miniseries Trigonometry and was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2021.
