Regina Nemni, originally from Belgrade, Serbia, began her career as a ballet dancer at La Scala in Milan. Federico Fellini discovered her and cast her in 'And the Ship Goes On'. Carlo Lizzani subsequently offered her major roles in films like 'Nucleus Zero' and 'Leonardo'. In the early 1990s, Nemni moved to New York City where she studied acting at NYU and Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. She appeared in several stage productions such as 'Fool for Love' and 'Antony & Cleopatra'.
