Rachel Brosnahan, born on July 12, 1990, is an American actress known for her role as Midge Maisel in the Amazon Prime Video series 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' (2017–2023), which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award and two consecutive Golden Globe Awards. She began her career with a nomination for an Emmy for her role in the political thriller series 'House of Cards' (2013–2015). Brosnahan has appeared in films like 'The Unborn' (2009), 'Beautiful Creatures' (2013), and 'I'm Your Woman' (2020). On stage, she made her Broadway debut in 'The Big Knife' (2013) and played Desdemona in an off-Broadway production of 'Othello' (2016). She returned to Broadway in 2023 for the revival of 'The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window'.
