Olimpia Melinte, born November 7, 1986 in Iași, Romania, pursued her dream of acting with support from her parents. She earned a master's degree in Dramatic Arts from the Arts University 'George Enescu'. Her acting debut was in Mircea Danieliuc's 'Cele ce plutesc', earning her two nominations at The Gopo Awards 2010. She acted alongside experienced international actors in Massimiliano & Gianluca de Serio's 'Sette opere di misericordia', winning awards at film festivals like Bobbio Film Festival. Notable roles include working with Luiza Parvu on 'Draft' and 'My Baby', appearing in Dan Chisu's comedy 'București NonStop', and starring opposite Antonio de la Torre in Manuel Martín Cuenca's 'Caníbal'. The latter received critical acclaim at festivals like Toronto and San Sebastián.
