Nicole Rio was born into a family that met a tragic end when her brother killed everyone except her; she survived by hiding in the basement. After being taken in by another family, Nicole grew up and attended college where she joined a sorority. Unbeknownst to her, the sorority house was actually her childhood home. When her brother, who had been institutionalized for his crimes, sensed Nicole's presence in the house, he escaped with the intention of completing his original massacre.
