Milena Smit, born on October 5, 1996 in Elche, Spain, started her career as a model at age 15 before transitioning to acting. She trained at Cristina Rota's acting school under Bernard Hiller. Before acting, she held jobs like waitress and subway information assistant. Her first film appearances were in shorts like 'Diagonales' and 'Chimichanga'. She gained recognition for her role in 'Cross the Line' (2020), earning a Goya Award nomination for Best New Actress. Pedro Almodóvar cast her in 'Parallel Mothers', where she played a pregnant woman alongside Penélope Cruz, earning another Goya nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
