Mia Lyhne, born in Denmark, started her acting career as an autodidact after unsuccessful attempts to enroll in the State Theatre School. She has a background in theater and singing groups at Vesterbro Ungdomsgård and has been affiliated with Teater Grob since 1996. Lyhne gained fame for her role as Mia in TV2's 'Klovn' and won the Danish version of 'Dancing with the Stars', 'Vild med dans', in 2005 with partner Thomas Evers Poulsen. She also received critical acclaim for her performance in 'Udvidelsen af kampzonen' at Det Kongelige Teater, winning an talent prize in 2002.
