Marina Pierro (born 9 October, either 1956 or 1960) is an Italian actress and film director known for her collaborations with Polish filmmaker Walerian Borowczyk. Her career began with minor roles in Italian films like 'L'innocente' (1976) by Luchino Visconti and 'Suspiria' (1977) by Dario Argento, before gaining prominence as Sister Veronica in Borowczyk's 'Interno di un Convento' (1978). Pierro's work with Borowczyk spanned around ten years, resulting in five completed films. Since the late 1980s, her on-screen appearances have been scarce, but she has directed three short films: 'In Versi' (2008), 'Himorogi' (2012), and 'Floaters' (2016).
