Marija Škaričić began her acting career in 2004 with a leading role in 'Ta divna splitska noć'. She won the 'Heart of Sarajevo' award for her performance as an heroin addict. She gained further recognition for her roles in 'Što je muškarac bez brkova' (2005) and 'Gospođica' (2006), winning another 'Heart of Sarajevo'. Škaričić has acted in numerous films, including 'Shahada' (2010), for which she won awards at the Pula Film Festival and the International Festival of Audiovisual Programs. She also starred in the TV series 'Bumerang' and 'Operacija Kajman'. In 2018, Škaričić played one of the lead roles in the mini-series 'Grudi', based on a true story about three friends facing challenges while helping one of them deal with breast cancer.
