Lynn Rachel Redgrave, OBE (March 8, 1943 - May 2, 2010) was an English actress known for her extensive work in film and theater. Born into a renowned British acting family, she trained in London before debuting on stage in 1962. By the mid-1960s, Redgrave had appeared in several films, including 'Tom Jones' (1963) and 'Georgy Girl' (1966), which earned her critical acclaim. She made her Broadway debut in 1967 and performed in numerous stage productions in both London's West End and New York while making frequent returns to film later in her career, notably for 'Shine' (1996) and 'Gods and Monsters' (1998).
