Lyndsy Fonseca, born and raised in Oakland, California, began her acting career at age 13 when she moved to Los Angeles for pilot season. She gained recognition playing Colleen Carlton on 'The Young and the Restless' (2004-2007) with a three-year contract. Fonseca had notable roles in 'How I Met Your Mother' (2005-2016), 'Big Love' (2006-2011), and 'Desperate Housewives' (2004-2012). In 2010, she played Katie Deauxma in the superhero film 'Kick-Ass', alongside Xander Berkeley who later became her co-star on 'Nikita' (2010-2013), where Fonseca played Alex Udinov. She was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2008.
