Lucy Liu was born on December 2, 1968, and is an American actress known for her versatile roles. She won several awards including a Critics' Choice Television Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Liu gained fame playing Ling Woo in 'Ally McBeal' (1998–2002), Alex Munday in 'Charlie's Angels' films (2000 and 2003), and Joan Watson in 'Elementary' (2012–2019). Her notable film appearances include 'Payback' (1999), 'Shanghai Noon' (2000), 'Chicago' (2002), 'Kill Bill: Volume 1' (2003), and more recently, 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods'.
