Elizabeth 'Liz' Tabish, born in the United States, is an accomplished actress and filmmaker. She holds both a Master of Arts in Theater and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from Oklahoma State University. After moving to Austin, Texas post-graduation, Liz began her career appearing in commercials, independent films, and network television projects. Her breakthrough role came as Mary Magdalene in the TV series 'The Chosen'. She has since starred in various films and TV shows, including 'Between Borders' (2025), 'The Shift' (2023), 'The Son' (2017), and 'Panic' (2021). Beyond acting, Liz is a celebrated filmmaker with numerous award-winning short films to her credit. She co-founded The Arthouse Film Festival and won the ScreenCraft Cinematic Prose competition in 2025 for her short story 'It’s Not Magic'. Off-screen, she is married to Stan Mayer and shares a close bond with her brother, musician Jesse Tabish.
