Lena Endre, born on July 8, 1955 in Lidingö, Stockholm County, Sweden, is an acclaimed actress known for her roles in Swedish and Norwegian film and television. She rose to prominence in the 1980s through TV series like 'Varuhuset' and 'Lorry'. Endre gained international recognition for her role as Katarina in the 'Wallander' series and her collaboration with director Liv Ullmann in 'Trolösa' (2000). She has also been nominated for Best Leading Actress at the Swedish Guldbagge Awards for her performances in 'Dag och Natt' and 'Himlens Hjärta', both directed by Simon Staho. Endre is married to Swedish director Richard Hobert since 2000, having two children from a previous marriage with actor Thomas Hanzon.
