Ortiz attended Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers, Florida. Her notable roles include playing Ruby in 'The Hills Have Eyes' (2006), Ashley Hall in a T-Mobile advertisement, Vickie the siren in 'American Dragon: Jake Long', and appearing alongside Eddie Murphy in 'Norbit'. She also voiced the character Jessica in 'Horton Hears a Who!'. Ortiz has appeared in various TV shows like 'Sleeper Cell' and 'Injustice'.
