Lang Khê Tran, born in Hanoi, North Vietnam during World War II, lived through tumultuous times. As a young French soldier in 1945, he witnessed the execution of his brother Henri and sister-in-law, who was pregnant, at the hands of Japanese attackers. This tragic event left Robert, later known as Lang Khê Tran, blinded by vengeance and driven to secretly pursue justice for his family.
