Karine Verlier, born Karine Stämpfli on May 8, 1954 in Paris, France, is a French actress. Daughter of actress Lucile Saint-Simon and painter Jacques Verlier, she was raised in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where she studied general and artistic studies before becoming an actress around the age of 23 under the pseudonym 'Dalaïna'. She joined the Catherine Harlé agency in Paris and began acting in films.
