Jill Schoelen (born March 21, 1963), daughter of fashion designer Dorothy Schoelen and raised in Burbank, California, began her acting career on TV with 'Best of Times' (1981). She transitioned into films like 'D.C. Cab' (1983) and 'Hot Moves' (1984). Schoelen found success playing resourceful teens in horror films such as 'Chiller' (1985), leading to her iconic role in Wes Craven's 'Stepfather' (1987), alongside Terry O'Quinn. Despite subsequent roles like 'The Phantom of the Opera' (1989) and 'When a Stranger Calls Back' (1993), Schoelen's career declined after films like 'Curse II: The Bite' (1989). She retired post-'Not Again!' (1996), raising two children with husband Anthony Marinelli.
