Jenny Rainsford, born and raised in Watford, England, graduated with a degree in English from the University of Oxford before studying acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2011. She has acted in various productions for prestigious theaters such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Headlong, Royal Court Theatre, and Young Vic.
