Jane Seymour Fonda, born December 21, 1937 to socialite Frances Ford Seymour and actor Henry Fonda, began her acting career on Broadway with 'There Was a Little Girl' (1960). She rose to prominence during the 1960s with films like 'Period of Adjustment', 'Sunday in New York', 'Cat Ballou', 'Barefoot in the Park', and 'Barbarella'. Known for her roles, she won two Academy Awards for 'Klute' (1971) and 'Coming Home' (1978). Fonda became a fitness icon with her workout videos, selling over 17 million copies. After retiring from acting in 1991, she returned in 2005 with 'Monster-in-Law'. Since then, she has starred in various films and the Netflix series 'Grace and Frankie'.
