Hayley McElhinney, born on September 12, 1974, is an Australian actress known for her extensive work in stage, film, and television. She graduated from WAAPA in 1999 and has since performed with renowned theater companies like Melbourne Theatre Company, Black Swan Theatre Company, Perth Theatre Company, and Sydney Theatre Company. McElhinney was nominated for a Helpmann Award in 2007 and was part of the Sydney Theatre Company's Actor's Company ensemble from 2006 to 2008. She played Sonya in Uncle Vanya, which received critical acclaim during its runs in Sydney (2010), Washington D.C. (2011), and Manhattan (2012).
