Haruna Takase, born January 3, 1954, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a renowned Japanese actress known for her captivating performances and notable roles in films and television dramas. Initially beginning her acting career during her studies at Waseda University through theater productions and self-produced films directed by Yoshiyuki Fukuda like 'I Broke My Arm' (1975), Takase faced early setbacks such as withdrawing from leading roles due to health issues ('Ichiban Hoshi', 1977) and dropping out of 'Makai Tensho' (1981). However, she gained recognition for her roles in 'Manji' (1983), 'Musashino Shinju' (1983), and 'The Funeral' (1984), becoming known as the 'Queen of Erotic Scenes.' Takase appeared in various films and TV dramas, including 'Ageman' (1990) and 'A Patient' (1993), historical drama series, two-hour dramas, theater productions, and talk shows.
