Gemma Jones, born Jennifer Gemma Jones on December 4, 1942, is an English actress known for her versatile roles in both theatre and film. She has appeared in notable films such as 'Sense and Sensibility' (1995), 'Bridget Jones's Diary' (2001), the Harry Potter series (2002-2011), and Woody Allen's 'You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger' (2010). In 2014, she won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the BBC television film 'Marvellous'.
