Frances Barber, born Frances Brookes on 13 May 1958 in England, is an English actress known for her work in theater and film. She has been nominated twice for Olivier Awards for her roles in 'Camille' (1985) and 'Uncle Vanya' (1997). Barber has collaborated with Gary Oldman in films like 'Prick Up Your Ears' (1987), 'We Think the World of You' (1988), and 'Dead Fish' (2005). She also starred in 'Sammy and Rosie Get Laid' (1987) and 'Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool' (2017).
