Dominga Bofill was born in Chile in 1978, during the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. Her most notable work is 'Trauma' (2017), a film that explores the brutal aftermath of an attack on four women in rural Chile and their confrontation with local men who have ties to the dark history of Pinochet's regime.
