Corinne Masiero, born February 3, 1964, in Douai, France, is an actress who began her career late in life after working various odd jobs and living on the streets for a few years. She started with theater before transitioning to film. Masiero's notable roles include Louise Wimmer (2012), for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the César Awards, Rust and Bone (2012), and 11.6 (2013). In addition to her acting career, Masiero ran for municipal elections in Roubaix on the Left Front slate in 2014, supporting François Ruffin during the 2017 French legislative election. She gained further attention at the 2021 César Awards when she stripped naked in protest against the French government's Covid-19 restrictions.
